Sarasota, FL (January 2007) - FHM Insurance Company, Florida's oldest and most experienced workers' compensation company, has chosen Tropics® Policy Administration and WebTropics® agency and insured products.

In 2006, FHM filed and received a license for providing workers' compensation coverage in the state of Georgia. Expansion to other states combined with the need to provide high quality service with web access and the need to increase efficiency, propelled FHM management to look for an advanced vendor solution.

The next step is installation of the web-based agency application processing/quoting and inquiry/reports, web-based insured inquiry/reports and online payment. Finally, processing of Florida policies is slated for October of 2007 after the legacy data is converted into the Tropics system.
